The most essential compositional aspect of this piece is its dynamic loop-structure: each of the three parts consists of a constantly repeated series of elements, mainly quotations from my piano trio "1981". In spite of their loop character, however, the parts are also constantly changing, as the word "dynamic" indicates - in the course of the piece certain elements disappear while new ones appear (always somewhat shorter, generally louder and lower in pitch than their predecessors) at various places within the loop. Other characteristics of this dynamic process are the appearance of smaller loops within the larger as well as an increase in the number of repetitions.
