was composed as the final movement of the orchestral work Orchideæ Ordinariæ Or The Twelfth Root Of Truth but can be independently performed, live or mechanically. A somewhat “simplistic” beginning leads through rhythmically tangoid passages to the heart of the piece, characterised by strongly contrasting textures of pitch, density and loudness. Here the highly virtuoso alternates with the quasiautistic, moments of “only now” with stretches of continuous organic development. Towards the end, Pandora gradually crumbles away, ending as unremarkably as irrelevantly [...]
